Hello, I'm half-asleep today so this'll more than likely be a short blog...
It's all 'Appening
So far this week I've been working on getting some things completed for the darts app to be uploaded to the Google Play and IOS Stores. It's been an experience, to put it mildly.
So far, the app is being tested on the Google Play store, to make sure everything is working and present. The only issue that's being encountered is the fact the Facebook sharing is not working properly which I'm now working towards fixing The issue seems to be more on the Unity side of things rather than anything particularly worrying, which is somewhat good. I've to still figure out what the issue is but the app does seem to be connecting to Facebook but the next screen doesn't appear as it should which is bizarre. Especially when Twitter works flawlessly and that part of the code is written the same (save for a few small changes in names of bools). We're also planning on doing some work on the next section of Reprieve today which should be fun and I've to make a run through of the Air Temple to make sure everything is traversable

Ooooh More Lava...This week has been a beautiful amalgamation of white-boxing, boss coding, game design meetings and scene lighting thus far. Onto the white-boxing first, we've now completed the Air Temple white-boxing completely, after deciding to make the temple section a bit longer after our work last week. The levels we added are more enemy based than the rest of the temple, with some new enemies thrown in too. We've also to redo some earlier levels prior to the air temple later in the week (we were meant to do that last week but we're easily distracted) I've also been working on the Fire Guardian boss battle a lot this week and also the scene that it takes place in. The boss pretty much needed a complete rewrite code-wise and that's taking a tad longer than expected but it's getting there nonetheless The scene meshes have been now added in after Adrian sent them across. One of the issues that he was having with his version of the scene was how dark it was, even with lights. So last night, I worked on making it bright enough. Took lots of strategically placed lights but it's looking nice, so far. We've also had our fair share of design meetings this week, deciding on new levels and enemies and deciding how each one should act. It'll be a while before they're added though. It's been a productive week this week. Hopefully it keeps going that way! That's my lot for the moment until Sunday Musings. Until then, enjoy the rest of the week.
