Hello my lovelies for another Sunday musings. Eventful week this has been there was tons of progression made in our upcoming title that would make your winch spin. Dan has got some amazing new features in the game including as you may have gathered a winch that controls doors and other things. He has done it so the weight of the gate can counter spin it back as it closes. I am well chuffed by it as it looks amazeballs :D. Have a look at the video below for a little sneek peek. Adrian has been busy with rigging and adding more visuals to the game. He has added a new character to the game called the Archer. The Archer is a remnant of the great war exodus that expelled the humans from the temples. The archer still stands ground protecting his family and his home even after death. These enemies will spawn from lanterns dotted around the temple and will keep spawning until the flame in the lantern is quenched. Below is another little sneek peek ..... well more of a character development sketch gif. Our Week in Gaming This week we have been playing Battle block theatre after work and we are loving the entire experience from the witty humour to the sharp crisp controls we cannot fault this game. We have been giggling our way through this adventure. The word co-optional is very fitting for this game as the second that special golden hat is dangled in front of our greedy little faces we stop team work and quickly rush to destroy each other for them sweet sweet gems. Stamper you crazy man we love you and your insane ramblings! 5/5 from us :D Friday and last night our good friend oisface has introduced us to the wonderful game called UNTURNED it is a mix with minecraft and day z. The graphics made us all shudder at first but the charm quickly our heart as we had great fun surrendering and waving at each other . Slowly but surely we have started our first house together. The crafting system is deep and takes a while to understand as I stood for 20 min trying to figure out how to great the wall of our house :D I would suggest everyone try the game as it is free and you wont regret it you can only have a great fun time in a minecraft like zombie apacolypse :D. 3.5/5 from us. Time for our Soundtrack Lets be honest this is what you all came here for, our soundtracks of the week. This week Dan has selected a song that reminds him of his times on the road in Unturned. Johnny Cash and his highwayman. Take it away John. And low and behold its Adrian's turn. and he has chosen his fav song from battle block theatre, the insane ramblings of stamper the voice over artist of the game. Conclusions Well Well that was a mighty big post for a musings. But hopefully a good read for you all. We wish you all a great week. Talk to you all again :D
Tis time for another musings of the Sunday variety We've been as busy as bees this week. Adrian has been bee-sy creating a new enemy for the forest area and as you may have guessed from the terrible pun that he has insisted upon, it's a bee. He has also been creating more things for the forest area and the full game. As Screenshot Saturday shows, the forest is filling up nicely. I've been busy, implementing power lockouts for the game and a new tunnel system that'll add a new dimension to the game...pun intended. Also, I've implemented a new rope door complete with winch and the new leaf attack today which is far more effective than the old earth attack. Together we also white-boxed the entire opening of the game, including a mini boss battle. It's nice seeing the running order of the game and playing through it, even without any proper meshes or cutscenes and it also gives us a nice view of the overall scope of the game. Time for this weeks musics Adrian's: Creedance Clearwater Revival - Fortunate SonDan's: Coheed and Cambria - Domino the Destitute |
