Now that's a punny title .... I hope.
Hello and welcome to another Sunday Musings with me (Adrian) at the helm. This week we have been busy with Reprieve stuff but mostly stuff that looks and sounds uninteresting. I have been still texturing the fire temple(that place is huge bro) and have been designing new enemies. I have also started modelling up stuff for the climb and we have houses and some god awful looking tree's that I deleted ASAP. But hey all in the name of progress. We had alot of distractions this week so things are bit all over the shop and towards the end we had a bit of a panic moment that Dan has to deal with over the next while to rectify. Dan was busy making the climb white box levels work. Making them playable and getting them working with all the cool trigger events we have happening up there. Dan also got destructable chains working in the fire temple making its possible to trigger the boss fight. On hit effects was also on dan's done things this week. This makes all the cool flashy effects when an attack hits a wall or and enemy. They add alot of visual feed back to players and make the game more satisfying. Speaking of effects the ground pound slam effect is in and looks good but we need to change out the crack as its scaling with camera position due to the fact I created as particle system not knowing this would be a result .So I will change that later on next week for dan then we can show it off. Also we have re started out little side project STAR JUMP. We are both enjoying the fresh feel of working on it and making something quick fun and easy. It will be on the app stores ASAP and it was even our Screen shot Saturday of this week.
It is our weekend project and neither of us can for see it being a long drawn out affair.
